An ultra-modern private residence in Beverly Hills with extensive coordination between interiors, architecture, engineering, and the complex requirements of hillside construction.
CHALLENGE
To deliver a highly resolved interior within a technically demanding hillside residence, where the interior design had to be continuously coordinated with the architecture, structure, building systems, and engineering requirements while maintaining the clarity of the design.
PROCESS
I led a team of three designers and managed coordination with the architect of record and engineering teams. The work required translating the interior design through detailed documentation, interdisciplinary coordination, and ongoing resolution of the interfaces between architecture, engineering, and interiors.
OUTCOME
A fully developed interior design package in which the architectural and technical requirements of a complex Beverly Hills residence were integrated with a highly refined, ultra-modern interior design.
